The Gösta Serlachius Contemporary Art Museum features a large private collection composed of primarily Finnish artwork. The museum opened its doors in 2014 to house the works acquired by Mänttä paper mill owner Gösta Serlachius.

The architecture of the museum is as impressive as the collection. The museum’s location in a woodland area combined with the reflective exterior gives a natural appearance to it walls. Because of this, the museum blends with its surroundings as a work of art itself surrounded by nature.
