Located near the Acropolis in Athens' Plaka neighborhood, the Emotions Museum opened its door to the public in 2006. Since then, it has taken up the essential role of encouraging children from ages 5 to 15 to discover their emotions. Through interactive exhibitions, plays, fairy tales and educational programs, children learn about themselves and their feelings, which are often confusing to express. Its exhibitions, which change every three years, focus on different aspects of our emotions. The museum is a member of the Association of Children’s Museums HOI “Hands On International.”
