Located at Oxford University, the Museum of the History of Science features a wide variety of historical objects related to science and scientific research. Examples of the museum’s collection include astrolabes, beakers, and Einstein’s blackboard. Each object displayed helps to tell the story of scientific progress, thus making the museum both a history museum and a science museum. Although it is set on a university campus, the Museum of the History of Science is for all audiences and not just university students or adults. Because of this, the museum is a great place for kids to visit while in Oxford!
